Clogs are all the rage this season. And while I’m up for trying out almost all shoe trends, this is one I’ll be skipping.
I can’t really explain why, but these shoes just don’t appeal to me. In fact, I hate them. With so many other great shoe options out there, why would anyone choose to cover their feet with these?
But maybe it’s just me. What does everyone else think about this latest shoe craze? Are you rocking the clogs?
How fabulous are these wedges?
The studs are a huge trend right now, and the cutouts are edgy. Plus, you get comfort of wearing a wedge. I love the color contrast of nudes (like these taupe sandals) and black, so I would pair these with an all black outfit like a dress or Bermuda shorts. Something that allows the shoes to get every one’s full attention.

What does a $4700 shoe look like? Apparently like this:
When I first came across these Valentino Sculpture Lace Pumps I was intrigued. But the closer I look at these I can’t help but think that they are just flat-out ugly. The floral applique looks like it was glued on by a first-grader. I really don’t understand why anyone would pay $4700 for these shoes. But, then again, I’m not filthy rich. I guess given the opportunity I could rock these, but I just don’t have any desire to…

I usually drool over the new Manolos, but this collection less than dazzled me. There aren’t any shoes from the collection that I can’t live without…and that makes me a little sad. (Although it makes my husband VERY happy!)

There all just a little too subdued for my taste, but I’m sure there are lots of women out there who would love these. Manolo Blahnik is definitely more well known for the classic shoes than the show-stopping, center-of-attention shoes Louboutin makes.
But I will say that I’m blessed to own a pair of both Manolos and Louboutins and I actually wear the Manolos far more often. Maybe I’m more of a classic kind of girl than I think…

Rarely have I come across a Prada shoe I didn’t love. Case and point:
But these Prada Floral Pumps from the new Resort Collection have me scratching my head:
I really can’t figure out exactly what it is I don’t like about these. Too much going on; too many flowers; too many straps; the colors. It’s just too much. And coming from a girl who prides herself on her eclectic shoe collection, that’s saying a lot.
So what are your thoughts? Would you wear these?
Today’s Oprah show was all about shoes and accessories. With the help of a style team, Oprah and her pals came up with a list of the six types of shoes every woman needs to own.
Here’s what they came up with:
1. A Black Pump
I love these pointy-toe heels from BCBG; they are a great staple for any wardrobe. But if stilettos aren’t your thing, then try a kitten-heel or something with a wider heel.
2. A Comfortable Flat
These Tory Burch flats are super comfortable and add a punch of color to any neutral outfit.
3. Evening Shoe
Evening is the perfect time to experiment with your shoes. There are tons of strappy sandals out there, but why not be a little more adventurous? I love these Report Signature lovelies with zipper bows.
4. Sleek Comfort Sneaker
I don’t wear sneakers often, but when I do, I always go with my trusty Pumas. They are perfect for running errands when paired with jeans and a casual top.
5. Tall Boot
I absolutely love these flat boots from Target. They are perfect over skinny jeans or with skirts and dresses. I like to wear them over brightly-colored tights.
6. All-Weather Boots
I love a cute rain boot, but PLEASE don’t wear these as an everyday staple! They are only meant to help you trudge through the rain or snow. If you’re running errands in the inclement weather, then definitely reach for your rain boots. Otherwise, you’ll need to change your shoes once you arrive at your destination.
These are the six must-have shoes according to Oprah. I would definitely add booties and platforms to the list. What shoes do you think every woman must have in her closet?
Who knew Victoria’s Secret offered such fabulous and affordable shoes? I certainly had no idea! I get the catalog, but I never really bother with it. I always assumed it just contained bras and panties…items I only really purchase on an as needed basis.
But when I received my catalog today, I started flipping through it out of boredom, and what did I find? Well, these gorgeous booties for one:
I love the zipper ruffles, and at only $89, they are practically a steal!

Hardware is a major trend this season, and these fit the bill perfectly.
The stitching on these pumps make them more stylish than the normal pump. They’re perfect for the office.
I feel as though a whole new shoe shopping world has been opened to me. And the site carries other brands, like Guess, Jessica Simpson, Betsey Johnson, and Harajuku Lovers.
So, while I’m not a huge fan of buying shoes online, I’m definitely going to give the site a chance. Now I just need to decide between the zipper booties and the sequin booties. But at less than $100 each, maybe I’ll snag both!
