Watching the “Sex and the City” movie today got me thinking about all the fantastic (and sometimes crazy) outfits Carrie wore on the show and in the movie.
So I thought I’d share of few of my favorites…
I searched and searched for this top in vain. I think this may be my favorite thing she ever wore on the show.
The middle outfit is my absolute favorite from the movie. There’s something so fantastically chic about it.
The infamous Oscar de la Renta dress. I drooled all over myself when she opened the box with this dress in it.
I’m sure I looked this fabulous strolling around Paris…
I had to include the outfit from Carrie’s stint as a model…just before she became “fashion roadkill”!
So perfectly Carrie Bradshaw. So perfectly Pat Field.
I certainly love a bubble hem.
Oh, how I love this dress. And all she even did was sleep in it!
That’s just a sampling of my favorites from the show and movie. While there is no way I could ever afford most of what Carrie wears, I think many of her outfits can be put together using less expensive pieces. Just look at how many designers knocked off the Dior gladiator sandals Carrie wore in the movie. (I got my version at Nine West.)
I can’t wait to see what Pat Field comes up with for the next movie. One thing is for sure: The fashion will definitely have everyone talking again.
I ABSOLUTELY love the bubble dress Ms. Parker is wearing!!! You have made a fabulous choice. Why didn’t you major in fashion? You would have done the world of fashion even better.
